CSF's Exclusive B-Tube Technology increases the heat transfer by approximately 15% over regular oval welded tubes. In addition, the super-efficient multi-louvered fins maximize airflow through the core for the best possible performance. More cooling rows also improve the overall efficiency of the radiator. More cooling tubes means more surface area for the coolant's heat to dissipate from. Each end tank is CNC machined billet aluminum giving them incredible strength and durability. CNC machining offers incredible precision and uniformity. The results are perfectly produced end tanks that perfectly match up with the ends of the 42 mm core. Hand TIG welding joins the tanks to the core creating the strongest radiator on the market for the R33 Skyline. Each radiator includes a 1.4 bar high pressure cap with an embossed CSF logo. High pressure radiator caps raise the boiling point of coolant. This helps protect the system from boiling over at higher operating temperatures. While the radiator is designed to keep the system from reaching such temperatures, it is always good to have extra protection for situations where the coolant gets too hot. CSF's Porsche 991 Turbo intercoolers have been race-tested, logged, and fully validated by some of the world's best Porsche tuners. From first glance the increase in width from the OEM's 80mm core to the CSF's 115mm width is very apparent. Critical for vehicles running performance tunes with bolt-on modifications. Electric fan technology has progressed a lot over the years and newer fans can efficiently move more air with a lower drawn on your car's electrical system. The laser cut shroud ensures the most efficient function of the fans drawing air through the radiator. The low profile dual 9-inch SPAL fans move 1180 CFM of air. The Fan & Shroud kit is designed to fit the CSF #7088 Radiator but will also fit OEM 944 NA Radiators. The original OE radiator from Porsche is a plastic tank radiator with a single row aluminum core design. While this is generally accepted as good quality and durable, it just isn't enough for the Cayenne. The 955/957 is notorious for having cooling issues. Just driving down the road on a hot day can overheat the engine and off-roading and towing/hauling is much harder on the cooling system. On top of that, these SUVs are 15-20 years old now. Those still running the original radiator have definitely lost some cooling efficiency due to bend/damaged fins and tube clogging. CSF's Exclusive B-Tube Technology increases the heat transfer by approximately 15% over regular oval welded tubes. In addition, the super-efficient multi-louvered fins maximize airflow through the core for the best possible performance. More cooling rows also improve the overall efficiency of the radiator. More cooling tubes means more surface area for the coolant's heat to dissipate from. Each end tank is CNC machined billet aluminum giving them incredible strength and durability. CNC machining offers incredible precision and uniformity. The results are perfectly produced end tanks that perfectly match up with the ends of the 42 mm core. Hand TIG welding joins the tanks to the core creating the strongest radiator on the market for the R32 Skyline. Each radiator includes a 1.4 bar high pressure cap with an embossed CSF logo. High pressure radiator caps raise the boiling point of coolant. This helps protect the system from boiling over at higher operating temperatures. While the radiator is designed to keep the system from reaching such temperatures, it is always good to have extra protection for situations where the coolant gets too hot. The newer 2nd gen B58 engine, found in the Mk5 Supra, has already been proven to be an incredible platform for performance enthusiasts - taking the performance and motorsports industry by storm in just a couple of years since its release. Customers are now pushing through the 1000whp mark on their B58 powered vehicles with the CSF manifold. The OEM water-cooled charge air cooler intake manifold for the B58 engine is adequate in cars with little or no modifications, but starts to really show its weakness in cars with bolt-on mods, turbo upgrades, increased fueling (such as port injection), and performance tuning. The OEM intercooler system has also been known to suffer from heat soak in demanding racing conditions such as time attack, endurance racing, drag racing, drifting, and even spirited street driving. The newer 2nd gen B58 engine, found in the Mk5 Supra, has already been proven to be an incredible platform for performance enthusiasts - taking the performance and motorsports industry by storm in just a couple of years since its release. Customers are now pushing through the 1000whp mark on their B58 powered vehicles with the CSF manifold. The OEM water-cooled charge air cooler intake manifold for the B58 engine is adequate in cars with little or no modifications, but starts to really show its weakness in cars with bolt-on mods, turbo upgrades, increased fueling (such as port injection), and performance tuning. The OEM intercooler system has also been known to suffer from heat soak in demanding racing conditions such as time attack, endurance racing, drag racing, drifting, and even spirited street driving. After more than 9 months of R&D, and input from some of the best import drag race builders in N. America, CSF has brought to the sport compact market the most advanced drag race cooling system ever developed. Introducing the KING Cooler. For the longest time, buying a drag-race radiator was a tasking process. End users had to custom order the unit based on their connection and mounting specifications. Typically, this process would take 2-4 weeks and be rather expensive. CSF has eliminated this hassle by making sure that these units are in stock in both of CSF's coastal warehouses and on the shelves of distributors and supporting dealers around the world. Universal Fit Allows for Mounting in Multiple Different Configurations. The Triple-Pass Flow Structure allows the coolant to flow across the core of the radiator three times before exiting for lowest outlet temperatures possible. This radiator features a 2-Row core with CSF's exclusive B-Tube Technology: Unlike a regular oval-shaped "O" type radiator tube, CSF uses a specially engineered tube in the shape of a "B". These "B-tubes" are carefully formed and then brazed over the seam to seal. CSF is able to use thinner and lighter aluminum material (with better cooling efficiency) because this design is actually stronger than normal "O" shape tubes that are welded. The design (inlet in the middle of the tube that is seam brazed) increases the heat transfer surface area of the tubes by approximately 15% over regular tubes - producing the efficiency of two smaller tubes vs. one large tube within the same space criteria. With "B-tubes" you are able to get "dual liquid laminar flow". CSF also uses ultra efficient multi louvered fins that are carefully and precisely aligned to maximize airflow through each radiator core. Fin specifications are carefully measured and calculated for each application, and tested for maximum heat rejection efficiency in our wind-tunnel lab.
