CSF BMW S54 Swap Into E36 / E46 Chassis High Performance Radiator $565.00 $599.00

Because the S54 requires a much more robust oil cooling system than the E36's S52, CSF made special provisions to fit two different race spec oil coolers. To do this, the height of the radiator was reduced slightly so the oil coolers can fit under it in a factory style location. The radiator includes mounting brackets which can be adjusted to fit both oil coolers (CSF #8032 & #8240). CSF also includes brackets for an electric fan conversion. These brackets are designed to fit a single 16 inch SPAL Fan (not included). Enter the new CSF S54 Swap Race Spec Oil Cooler. This new oil cooler is shorter on the right hand side allowing owners to run the A/C lines in the OEM path. Even though the #8240 is slightly smaller than the #8032, you can expect similar performance levels as they both feature a dual pass design with 8 cooling rows and are the same turbulated heavy-duty bar/plate construction. Both oil coolers utilize the S54 OEM oil line connections. However, CSF will be offering a fitting kit with -10 AN hookups for customers looking to run custom oil lines. This fitting kit should be available by the second quarter of 2023.

CSF Dual Fluid Bar & Plate HD Oil Cooler w/9in SPAL Fan (1/3 & 2/3 Partition) - 13.8in L x 10in H $599.00

The all-aluminum design was made to withstand even the most extreme conditions - With extruded aluminum end tanks, TIG welds, a heavy-duty bar and plate core, and pressure testing up to 120psi. The core features 17 rows of cooling, split into two sections of 5 and 12 rows, allowing for cooling of two different fluids in one compact design. Virtually any type of oil can be used - including engine oil, power steering fluid, transmission oil, and gearbox fluid. The oil cooler includes a SPAL fan and shroud with isolator mounts (for high vibration) - but this can be removed for a more compact fit or when not needed. -10 AN fittings are built into the end tanks, making it easy to install for aftermarket and race applications.

This 12" x 12" x 6" Air-to-Water Core is rated for 2000 WHP and the perfect fit for your custom high-performance intercooler. Each CSF Intercooler core is pressure tested at 120psi for maximum reliability in extreme boost applications. Hand-Built using jigs & fixtures for a perfectly straight core in a clean room using gloves inside the CSF factory to ensure proper brazing and a clean surface for future welding. Featuring a multi-louvered high precision staggered fin design (for both ambient and pressure sides of the core) for the best heat transfer possible.

CSF has mastered the charge-air cooling system and offers the Ultimate High-Performance All-Aluminum Heat Exchanger for the Mercedes Benz AMG 5.5L V8 bi-turbo engine. This AMG V8 utilizes a charge air cooler system - a water circuit (which flows through a pump into the charge coolers) and a heat exchanger (which uses the water to cool the compressed air). The High-Performance All-Aluminum Auxiliary Radiators work in conjunction with the rest of the cooling system to reduce temperatures throughout. This is critical as the Auxiliary Radiators not only help keep engine water temperatures lower, but also are utilized as the heat exchange medium in the air-to-water charge-air coolers for the turbocharger system to reduce intake air temperatures (IATs). Overall, the Auxiliary Radiators larger capacity prolongs the heat soak threshold and assists in keeping temperatures in optimal ranges. The included, detachable rock guard offers protection against the build-up of debris, as well as possible core punctures - unlike the OEM auxiliary radiators, which have little protection against the elements. CSF recommends purchasing two Auxiliary Radiators to replace both left and right OEM units (for vehicles with two from the factory).
