Truck Camping Guide
The moment you step out of your house and into your truck, your camping adventure begins. And we get it, everybody's a newbie at something and it's totally fine to not know everything during your first few trips. However, you have to know the basics - necessities like what food to bring, tools to have on hand, emergency things to pack... It can be overwhelming and definitely a party-pooper but we're here to help you with that.
Here's a simple list of essentials to get you through your first truck-camping experience so read up and have fun prepping!

1.

STUFF = BIN

It's important that you store all your things in a place that's sealed or closed to avoid leaks and spillage. Please don't leave stuff about for animals to eat for everybody's safety, including the animals. Plus, it's neater to have spill-proof and even water-proof containers for all your gear just in case the weather gets a little nasty and wet. Gotta be ready for all types of seasons.

2.

CHOOSE THE RIGHT GEAR.

The right gear is not necessarily the most expensive in the market, sometimes, it's actually the most economical. In choosing the right gear, functionality and durability must always be prioritized but it should be within the bounds of your budget. We have a variety of gear from over 100 brands which you can purchase directly through our website. Check them out today!

3.

COOKING NEEDS.

Honestly, you wouldn't want to have a 3-course meal in the mountains so choose easy-to-cook but healthy ingredients for your meals. Choose a portable gas stove and cooking utensils and pots should be stainless steel or aluminum, for easy-cleaning and storage. Avoid breakable plates and glasses and, to reduce waste, don't use plastics. Prepare a meal plan basing on the ingredients you're bringing to save time so you can spend it on exploring the scenery.

4.

CLOTHING AND TOILETRIES.

If you're like us, you'd prefer to spend your time traipsing around the grounds and hike your heart out! So it's important to choose functional clothes to protect you from all the possible elements across all types of terrain. Of course, you won't let a little rain or snow stop you from exploring, right? Just because you're out in the wilderness, doesn't mean you'll forget your hygiene - bring your toiletries!

5.

LOCATION. LOCATION. LOCATION.

We all want that picturesque and Instagram-worthy spot but try not to wander off too far and pick a place where there is still cellphone coverage, especially if you have kids with you. You can camp and still be at a safe distance from the nearest town or pit stop. And always keep in mind to respect the environment. You are a visitor, so pick up your trash and leave it the way you found it. If you like being in and around nature, do your part in preserving it. Please give your children a chance to see it for years to come.
