Fabtech's combination of steering knuckle, high arched crossmembers and upper control arms provides an excellent ride quality with high ground clearance. This system will provide a true 8 inches of lift without adjustment to the torsion bars allowing the use of 37in tall tires. The front differential is properly relocated to eliminate front driveshaft vibration on 2001-06 vehicles with the stock driveshaft. On late model 2007-08 vehicles with Magna 1625 transfer cases the system requires the use of a CV front driveshaft to address high speed 4WD use. New tubular upper control arms fit into the stock frame pockets using urethane bushings. Upper control arms include double shock mounting tabs for integration with Fabtech's optional front dual shock hoop system. The front suspension is completed with an differential skid plate, tubular crossmember supports and impact struts while the torsion bar drop down brackets properly align the torsion bars to the relocated stock lower control arms. The rear suspension is lifted using a 4'' block kit with 2in add a leafs. The system is completed with rear bump stop brackets and a rear driveshaft carrier bearing drop bracket. The 8in Performance Suspension System is accomplished via one-piece cast drop down steering knuckles attaching to heavy-duty 1/4in thick, high arched lower control arm crossmembers with tubular upper control arms. Fabtech's combination of steering knuckle, high arched crossmembers and upper control arms provides an excellent ride quality with high ground clearance. This system will provide a true 8 inches of lift without adjustment to the torsion bars allowing the use of 37in tall tires. The front differential is properly relocated to eliminate front driveshaft vibration on 2001-06 vehicles with the stock driveshaft. On late model 2007-08 vehicles with Magna 1625 transfer cases the system requires the use of a CV front driveshaft to address high speed 4WD use. New tubular upper control arms fit into the stock frame pockets using urethane bushings. Upper control arms include double shock mounting tabs for integration with Fabtech's optional front dual shock hoop system. The front suspension is completed with an differential skid plate, tubular crossmember supports and impact struts while the torsion bar drop down brackets properly align the torsion bars to the relocated stock lower control arms. The rear suspension is lifted using a 4'' block kit with 2'' add a leafs. The all new RTS (Raised Torsion Suspension) system utilizes patent pending torsion bar brackets that keep the torsion bars raised up, in the stock location. This feature provides superior ground clearance at the frame as there is no torsion bars hanging down to become high centered on or damaged when offroading. The RTS system has been designed with unitized bracketry reducing the installation time and providing increased strength. Our signature high arched crossmembers are constructed of 1/4in thick steel and feature tubular cross braces with a 1/4in thick steel front differential skid plate. The construction of the crossmembers, using 1/4in thick steel, is an important part of this system. Only 1/4in thick steel provides the rigidity and strength necessary to relocate the torsion bars, bump stops and lower control arms properly. Fabtech has performed rigorous on and offroad testing of this new RTS system to establish the proper bump stop engagement, torsion bar location and shock valving for a superior performing suspension system. Lift spindles are compatible with Fabtechs Performance Suspension systems or may be installedon stock suspensions. The one-piece cast design directly replaces the factory units for a quick; easy; no weld installation. Allspindles are engineered to accept factory ball joints and feature a press in axle snub design for superior strength and longevity.The S10 spindle can be installed without the need for costly wheel spacers. All Fabtech spindles will accept stock tires and wheels.
