Bring race technology to your adventures with OME's BP-51 suspension kit, featuring revolutionary patent-pending technology developed to deliver unparalleled on and off road performance. These bolt-on, big bore, position sensitive internal bypass shock absorbers have been developed and tested to provide exceptional ride comfort around town with significant amounts of end-zone damping for exceptional chassis control and handling off road. BP-51 shock absorbers provide greater levels of damping at each end of the stroke based on position and velocity of the piston. This provides a comfortable and compliant ride during normal driving, improved control over challenging terrain and prevents harsh topping/bottoming out through bumpy roads. Damping performance is easily adjustable across a wide range in both rebound and compression, allowing the driver to customize the vehicle's ride performance for road conditions, vehicle load scenarios and personal preference. The body, reservoir and components are all made from aircraft grade (6061 T6) aluminum, with a type 3, 40 micron hard anodized finish, ensuring exceptional heat dissipation and resistance to corrosion and stone damage. ICON’s tubular steel rear lower link arms are a significant upgrade over the factory units due to increases in strength, adjustability, and performance. These components are made from CNC machined and notched 1026 DOM steel and welded in-house, providing a major improvement over the construction of the stock units. This rear lower link arm kit features PTFE-lined FK rod ends for increased suspension articulation, reduced deflection, and link arm length adjustability and also utilize a multi durometer bushing that allows for noise free operation and maximum angularity without the need for periodic greasing and/or other maintenance. The quality rod ends and bushings featured in these link arms allow the vehicle’s suspension to function as intended, without the bushing bind that limits the vehicle in stock form. ICON’s engineering team has also gone a step further in the development of these products by incorporating features such as a tangent lower link barrel design that allows for easier sliding over off-road obstacles, and offsetting the front pivots of the lower link for improved roll steer geometry. BP-51 shock absorbers provide greater levels of damping at each end of the stroke based on position and velocity of the piston.
