These bushings are often overlooked when upgrading the suspension of a 4WD. Leaf spring bushings stabilize the movement of the rear axle. Inferior, worn or damaged bushings in this area will cause the solid rear axle to move and impart rear end passive steer to the vehicle. It also causes the vehicle to "wander" all over the road and be unstable under heavy braking. This can be especially noticeable carrying a load or towing a boat, RV or any significant trailer. The OE rubber bushings are designed to work at standard ride height with standard wheels and tires and with standard loads. Bilstein B16 (iRC) suspension kits feature ride height adjustability with standalone electronically adjustable dampers in an OE quality, direct fit package. This suspension kit allows the driver to electronically select between a Comfort or Sport setting via the iRC smartphone app and an in cabin mounted button. The iRC app allows the user to fine tune the parameters which controls the switching from Comfort to Sport on the electronic dampers. An accelerometer built into the control module provides the app with a graph of the g-forces while driving. This graph allows a user to choose the exact moment the electronic dampers will activate to provide an active suspension experience! Switching between Comfort and Sport modes can still be operated manually with the Bilstein Sport button. The biggest determining factors in ride quality and suspension performance are coil springs and shocks. Skyjacker specifically engineered a progressive 2-stage dual rate long travel coil. Spring rate progression is from a 1st Flex Rate to a 2nd Ride Rate. The 1st Flex Rate stage delivers a comfortable ride with the ability to flex for increased articulation. The flex rate expands during full articulation as the suspension drops (full droop). This keeps the coil springs seated in the upper coil mount/bucket and the tires in contact with the terrain. The 2nd Ride Rate stage only engages after compression past the flex rate. Engineered to coordinate with the Wranglers distinctive suspension handling characteristics, the rear coils are side specific. Skyjackers ADX 2.0 Adventure Series Remote Reservoir Aluminum Monotube Shocks deliver modern technology in the design with an innovative off-road race-inspired full-displaced valving system. Engineered for higher speed applications, remote reservoir shocks still perform at crawl. The external remote reservoir separates the nitrogen gas from the oil with an Internal Floating Piston (IFP). The majority of the reservoir contains pressurized nitrogen gas. The IFP prevents the gas and oil from mixing or foaming (cavitation). The replacement Front Adjustable Track Bar includes Skyjacker installed pressed-in HD OEM style rubber bushing and an adjustable 3/4-inch Heavy-Duty Rod End, Jam Nut and Alignment Bushings. A heavy duty Rear Track Bar Upper Mount Bracket is included to center the axle under the vehicle properly. The replacement Lower Control Arms include Skyjacker installed pressed-in HD OEM style rubber bushings. Front and Rear Bump Stop Spacers bolt onto the axle bump pads and keep the suspension travel safely in check. Front and Rear Extended Length Sway Bar End Links allow full articulation as the suspension drops (full droop).This Part Fits:
