RockJocks 3/8 in. thick laser cut and heat treated steel wrench is specifically designed for use with the Currectlync(R) steering removable rod end cartirdges. Use with a 1/2 in. breaker bar, hit it with a hammer, use a Crescent wrench or even a rock if the situation requries it! Finished in silver zinc plating.

This replacement tie rod end boot is compatible with all of RockJock's Currectlync cartridge style rod ends and universal rod end forgings. This style of boot is used in applications where the rod end will not be articulating at extreme angles and it is preferable to stabilize the rod end upright. RockJocks Currectlync(R) modular extreme duty tie rod for 2007-2018 Jeep JK Wranglers features a 1 5/8 in. diameter 4130 chrome moly heat treated steel tie rod tube and 1 1/4 in. thread forged steel greasable tie rod ends. The massive tie rod ends thread into the tie rod end body so that they may 1) be replaced without replacing the whole rod end saving cost, 2) the same threaded in tie rod end is used at all 4 points so only one spare would have to be carried, and 3) they may be unscrewed from the rod end bodies and screwed in from the other side if a flipped tie rod was desired. The tie rod tube feature machined-in wrench flats and jam nuts for ease of adjustment. This unit is a direct replacement for the stock parts. No modifications or machining to any part of the vehicle are necessary, and best of all, its made in the U.S.A.! NOTES: Flipping the tie rod would require retapering the tie rod end holes from the top side of the knuckle. RockJock's Currectlync rod end cartridges will fit any of the Currectlync universal rod end forgings. These cartridges feature a 1 ton taper on the pin, that fits the tapers found in the knuckles of most 1 ton axles) and will thread into RockJock's modular extreme duty forged rod end bodies from the top or the bottom, allowing you to create the perfect steering combination for your vehicle. Cartridge kit includes the cartridge, a universal boot, boot retaining clip, zerk fitting for greasing, and a rod end retaining nylock nut. The boot included in this kit is an articulating style, generally for drag link use. For tie rod use, you'll want to use a JK-9703TRB boot. These cartridges are direct replacements for those found in our JK-9703TRL tie rod. This cartridge fits either end of that tie rod.
