RockJock's double shear Steering Stabilizer Shock Bracket Kit allows you to relocate the axle housing end of your Jeep JL or JT Gladiator stabilizer shock and move it's mounting point out to the tie rod. This is most commonly done when you upgrade your JL or JT vehicle to a heavier tie rod and are no longer able to mount the shock in it's stock location on the passenger's side tie rod end and are forced to move the shock entirely. RockJock's heavy duty High Steer Knuckles replace the aluminum factory knuckles and raise your tie rod 2 3/4 in. and your drag link 2 1/2 in.. Currectlync steering that is included in this kit features forged, organically shaped drag link for maximum up travel and a 42mm tie rod. All steering rod ends are forged steel. Additionally, kit includes fully integrated trac bar relocation and ram assist mounting bracket that raises your trac bar 2 in. and corrects it's geometry as well as giving you a solid mounting point for your hydraulic steering assist ram. The bottom of the bracket is a skid plate protects the ram from rocks. RockJock's forged chromoly tie rod clamp installs to provide and easy hook-up point for the other end of your ram. RockJock Uni-Balls for Front Axle Housings are used in 3-link suspension applications, where the passenger's side upper control arm has been eliminated and all of the suspension load is now being applied to the one axle housing mounting location. Our Uni-Balls press into the stock bushing holes on the casting side, driver's side ONLY) of the front differential housing and provide a durable solution that incorporates a 5/8 in. thru-bolt hole for heavier hardware. This Uni-Ball will press into a stock JL or JT housing, only). The mounting width of the center pivoting assembly is 2 in., to allow it to fit into the fork on JL/JT front upper control arm, however, the 5/8 in. thru-bolt hole will require drilling of the bolt hole in the control arm fork. Uni-Balls feature a sealed bearing assembly, so no greasing is required. RockJock's Currectlync rod end cartridges will fit any of the Currectlync universal rod end forgings. These cartridges feature JL/JT pitman arm taper on the pin and will thread into RockJock's modular extreme duty forged rod end bodies from the top or the bottom, allowing you to create the perfect steering combination for your vehicle. Cartridge kit includes the cartridge, a universal boot, boot retaining clip, zerk fitting for greasing, and a rod end retaining nylock nut. The boot included in this kit is an articulating style, generally for drag link use. For tie rod use, you'll want to use a JK-9703TRB boot. This cartridges are direct replacements for that found in our JL-9703DL drag link. RockJocks weld-on chromoly Johnny Joints(R) for fabricators and suspension system builders offer 30 degrees of unrestricted movement in any direction as compared to 22 degrees on a common heim joint! Johnny Joint(R) rod ends offer cushioning that a heim joint cannot provide via high-density urethane bushings that encase the inner ball. The heat treated center balls are cross-drilled for thru-bolt lubrication and the joint internals are retained with 2 heavy duty, chromoly side washers and a snap ring. The outer shell is weldable .180 in. wall machined chromoly tubing that is fitted with a zerk fitting for greasing. This specific joint is a 3 in. o.d. and features a 3.250 in. mounting width and a .750 in. thru bolt hole.
