Our 6" Basic System has been designed utilizing our industry leading crossmember and spindle technology. Lift is accomplished by utilizing the factory front Coilover shocks with steel spacers that helps retain the stock ride of the front suspension. Extensive design work was given to the extended length steering knuckles specifically for the Steel component version keeping track width near stock and working properly with the Stablitrac? safety functions. The front differential is relocated with heavy duty brackets while a tightly formed 1/4 " thick steel skid plate provides protection for offroad use. The rear suspension is upgraded with add a leafs and 5" tall blocks and u bolts. The stock rear shocks are replaced with Stealth Shocks for increase damping. Fabtech's new 4" crossmember systems utilize their proven heavy duty construction and design features found in their 6" systems but with less lift for use with 33" tall tires. These 4" systems feature high arched lower control arm crossmembers constructed of 1/4" thick steel for maximum strength. The Fabtech ductile iron steering knuckles retain the stock track width keeping tires under the fender for a clean appearance. Rear lift is accomplished with a block and u-bolt configuration. This new Gen II system retains the factory track width keeping the tires under the fenders for a clean appearance. With the factory track width retained the front Sway Bar utilizes the stock end links and mounting holes keeping the leverage on the bar proper. There are no CV spacers, impact struts or add a leafs required for installation. The front differential is relocated in a manner so that when driving at higher 4 wheel drive speeds vibration is reduced. The GEN II Basic System utilizes a simplistic upper Coilover spacer that provides lift from the top of the shock rather than bottom up with reduced install time. Rear shocks are Performance Twin Tubes. All bracketry and the skid plate are constructed of 1/4" thick steel for maximum strength and proven reliability.
