Patented Internal Bypass technology allows for multiple zones of damping control. The result is a comfortable, confident ride with increased damping force through rough terrain. Internal bypass shocks produce more force progressively to control hard bottom-outs, prevent harsh top-outs, and provide an initial catch for landing. Shock fluid bypasses the main piston through aseries of bleed holes in the ride zone. As the shock extends past the ride zone in rebound or compression, the bleed holes terminate, forcing fluid through the main piston. The Factory Race Series shocks also stay cool by utilizing a Recirculating Reservoir Bridge. The bridge circulates shock fluid between the finned external reservoir and body using checked ports. The BORLA Cat-Back system 140862 was specifically designed to enhance the power and sound of the Ford F-150 equipped with 2.7L and 3.5L Engines. It includes 4" black chrome on T-304 stainless steel tips and a split rear exit configuration. Using BORLA Stainless Steel Polish p# 21461 is NOT recommended with these 4" black chrome tips. We suggest cleaning the tips with hot water and a microfiber cloth. The entire system is made of T-304 stainless steel and utilizes computer numerical control (CNC) manufacturing techniques that ensure an accurate fit. This system features the Touring sound that gives you a mild sound of power with no drone. It is also available with bright chrome tips (part number 140862). There are additional systems available for the 2.7L and 3.5L F-150 that offer different options for sound level, tip finish and tip Exits. Delta Joint PRO is ICON's innovative new suspension articulation joint which combines the durability and longevity of factory style ball joints with performance and strength that exceeds traditional motorsports-style ball joints. The Delta Joint PRO features a new rebuildable, serviceable design in which any component may be removed, inspected, and replaced without having to purchase a whole new joint. Strength and durability are improved by using a larger ball with 56% more bearing surface than our standard Delta Joint, along with improved lubrication sealing. But improved performance is at the heart of the Delta Joint PRO, with a full 90 degrees of articulation, from one extreme to the other. This represents a 14% improvement in range of motion, over the highly capable original Delta Joint, allowing for maximum bind-free suspension movement through the complete range of travel. The Delta Joint PRO is built to take the abuse, with a chromoly ball and shaft that has a bearing surface hardened to Rockwell C 55. The replaceable races are made of graphite-impregnated sintered metal, machined to the finest tolerance to provide a flawless, metal-to-metal bearing interface.
