This high quality GM 2500HD lift kit offers an increased ride height for enthusiasts looking to run a 35in tall tire with enhanced offroad capabilities. The stance of the vehicle will become more level front to rear for an aggressive look. The factory GM upper control arms are replaced with Fabtech's heavy duty ball joint tubular arms. They are constructed with 1.50in OD DOM steel tubing and feature a high travel ball joint that is sizably larger than stock. This provides for increased strength both on and offroad. Fabtech addresses this problem with their heavy-duty auxiliary shock kit and Dirt Logic 2.25 shocks. The kit retains the factory front struts and adds two high quality Fabtech built Dirt Logic 2.25 shocks with valving specific to the Sprinter van. Sway bar drop brackets are included to reposition the front bar so that the link ends do not go over center at full droop and cause bind. The brake lines are relocated down on the frame with extension brackets to eliminate the possibility of overstretching the lines throughout the new travel range. Fabtech provides extension brackets rather than longer brake lines to keep the factory brake system sealed for fast and trouble-free installation. This suspension kit utilizes the factory bump stops without extensions. This allows for more travel with the Fabtech coil springs and components. To help keep the factory alignment specifications of the vehicle, Fabtech includes 2 degree adjustable alignment ball joint inserts. High grade 304 Stainless Steel shock bodies eclipse all other shocks on the market for maximum corrosion resistance. Each Stainless Steel shock body receives a finely detailed machine finish for a stunning appearance. Dirt Logic Stainless Steel reservoir shocks have been upgraded with black anodized 6061 Aluminum reservoir bodies. This includes both piggyback and remote reservoir shocks. The Aluminum resi construction allows for greater heat dissipation thereby keeping the shock cooler to reduce fade during aggressive offroad use. Finally each Dirt Logic piston rod has been upgraded to a NitroSteel(R) material that is super hard while providing increased corrosion resistance compared to chromed piston rods. Get the finest ride with maximum corrosion resistance only from Dirt Logic shocks. In addition to the specific Dirt Logics for each suspension system, there is also a line of universal Dirt Logic shocks available in reservoir and non-reservoir styles, ranging from 8 to 16 inches of stroke. These universal shocks are sold with universal hardware kits for easy installation. Dirt Logic 2.0 and 2.25 shocks feature urethane bushings in the mounting points to reduce road noise and rattling associated with spherical bearings. Dirt Logic coilover shocks utilize spherical bearings at each end for increased strength along with urethane misalignment cups in the top caps. The misalignment cups keep the road noise transferred through spherical bearings to a minimum. Dirt Logic 2.5 and 4.0 coilover shocks use coil springs made to the highest quality standards possible. All Dirt Logic coils posses the ability to go solid without breaking, settling or bowing. All Dirt Logic coilover shocks come preset with the proper amount of preload so they can be bolted on without any further adjustment necessary. In addition to the specific Dirt Logics for each suspension system, there is also a line of universal Dirt Logic shocks available in reservoir and non-reservoir styles, ranging from 8 to 16 inches of stroke. These universal shocks are sold with universal hardware kits for easy installation. Dirt Logic 2.0 and 2.25 shocks feature urethane bushings in the mounting points to reduce road noise and rattling associated with spherical bearings. Dirt Logic coilover shocks utilize spherical bearings at each end for increased strength along with urethane misalignment cups in the top caps. Our Hummer system is constructed much like all of our IFS systems with extended steering knuckles and high clearance crossmembers but the similarities stop there. To properly address the H2's fulltime transfer case we include a CV style front driveshaft with this system to provide smooth driveline operation. Also unique to this system is two 1/4'' thick skid plates, one for the front differential and one for the transfer case. The Sport system features American made coil springs that are a Dual Rate design allowing for long travel suspension use offroad with a smooth highway ride. The first stage of the spring provides a soft ride with the ability to extend for additional travel. The second stage is designed to handle the payload of the vehicle and address large impact absorption at higher speeds. The Dual Rate coil springs are corner specific to the JL. This keeps the vehicle level side to side while allowing for increased suspension travel. Four bump stops extensions utilize the factory bump stops for compliant cushioning at full compression. The extensions retain the stock down travel to eliminate over cycling of the suspension and driveline. The extended length front and rear sway bar links with urethane bushings reposition the bars to work within the factory operating planes. By extending the length of the links, it prevents the sway bar from going over center and creating bind at full extension travel. This 3in Ram lift kit has been designed to provide a superior ride quality with clearance to run 35in tires for both on and offroad use. The mild lift height is subtle yet gives the vehicle a commanding stance without over doing it. Fabtech engineers took considerable time to cycle and test the 3in lift with their heavy duty ball joint upper control arms. There is no bind throughout the suspension travel and steering operation. The steering will go full lock to lock without any loss of the turning radius. The factory Ram upper control arm is made of plastic with a light duty ball joint. Fabtech's Upper Control Arms are constructed of tubular steel with large robust ball joints that provide strength to the suspension. These Fabtech upper control arms are a substantial upgrade for aggressive offroad use. Front lift is accomplished with a steel spacer that bolts to the top of factory coilover shock and a small coil spring collar that is placed below the coil spring. The combination of these two spacers provide a full 3in of lift while providing proper suspension travel without bind. The rear suspension receives a coil spring spacer to lift the vehicle. This helps keep the vehicle's factory stance without effecting the ride quality. This Ram lift kit includes Fabtech Stealth shocks. They are a sealed monotube shock that has a Nitrocarb piston rod for corrosion resistance and resist rock chipping. They will provide a great highway ride with good offroad damping capacity.
