Electric fan technology has progressed a lot over the years and newer fans can efficiently move more air with a lower drawn on your car's electrical system. The laser cut shroud ensures the most efficient function of the fans drawing air through the radiator. The low profile dual 9-inch SPAL fans move 1180 CFM of air. The Fan & Shroud kit is designed to fit the CSF #7088 Radiator but will also fit OEM 944 NA Radiators. Don't be fooled by other high-performance aftermarket options that utilize the OEM plastic rock guard. The OEM rock guard's vertical channel design is specifically designed to only work with the tube spacing found on the OEM core. When the OEM rock guard is installed on an aftermarket radiator, it actually blocks a significant amount of surface area. Obviously this is detrimental to the intended performance. During CSF's own R&D phase, CSF analyzed both the OEM and other aftermarket offerings and decided to go the extra mile. CSF redesigned the included rock guard to allow maximum flow to the radiator core, while still offering ample protection from small rocks and road debris - all proven on CSF's in-house wind tunnel. CSF's new Auxiliary Radiator fits both the left and right side of the vehicle as a drop-in fit. Thus requiring no modifications to install. Each features CNC machined mounting brackets and OEM style "Quick Connect" inlet/outlet connections. CSF has over 5 decades of experience manufacturing radiators. So when it comes to keeping your engine cool and your A3/S3 running at its best, a CSF High-Performance All-Aluminum Radiator is the obvious choice. Designed to perform on the street or at the track, a performance radiator is a must-have for both high horsepower builds as well as race vehicles which need added cooling performance in motorsports environments. This radiator features a 2-Row core with CSF's exclusive B-Tube Technology: Unlike a regular oval shape "O" type radiator tube, CSF uses a specially engineered tube in the shape of a "B". These "B-tubes" are carefully formed and then brazed over the seam to seal. CSF is able to use thinner and lighter aluminum material (with better cooling efficiency) because this design is actually stronger than normal "O" shape tubes that are welded. The design (inlet in the middle of the tube that is seam brazed) increases the heat transfer surface area of the tubes by approximately 15% over regular tubes - producing the efficiency of two smaller tubes vs. one large tube within the same space criteria. With "B-tubes" you are able to get "dual liquid laminar flow". CSF also uses ultra efficient multi louvered fins that are carefully and precisely aligned to maximize airflow through each radiator core. The OEM intercooler is made from plastic end tanks that are crimped onto an aluminum tube/fin core that is 4 inches thick (105mm core width) and is 5 inches in height (127mm). This may be enough to keep IAT's in check on a completely unmodified / stock vehicle, but once users to start increase power through bolt-on modifications, tuning, and built engines, the OEM intercooler will become the Achilles Heel of the system with IAT's skyrocketing out of the optimal range and drastically lowering the performance capabilities of the vehicle. Enter CSF with their stepped core design, bar/plate high performance N54 intercooler. This "drop-in fit" intercooler, which requires no modifications to install, has a bottom / larger section that is 5.5in thick (140mm) with a front face that is massive 8.25in tall (210mm). Made from CSF's industry exclusive rounded bar/plate core design. The rounded front face of the cooling bars allows for better airflow into the core. Airflow hits the core surface, and rather than scattering like it does with hitting the face of a flat bar that all competing products have, it travels around the face of the round bar and into core for much better performance than both the OEM design (flat face) and all other aftermarket competitors (all have flat face tubes or bars). A huge improvement over the OEM unit, and enough to handle even the most advanced N54 engine builds. The unique design of CSF's oil cooler line has distinct advantages over conventional style oil coolers (plate-type/stacked oil coolers). The oil coolers can be placed in tighter spaces or different areas of the vehicle that don't have much vertical surface area. Longer rectangular sizes can also help with avoiding the stacking of too many coolers which may cause airflow issues to other components in the cooling system. Inlet/outlet port placement is much easier to route oil lines. Typical oil cooler lines have to be routed from different/opposite ends of the cooler often facing up or down. Usually one line has to run across from one side of the cooler to the other to then be routed together to the feed/return connection of the oil system. The CSF oil coolers are much more robust, durable, and can withstand a higher peak burst rate. This allows the cooler to be mounted in areas that might get high debris (front fascia, diff cooler, side vents, etc...). The CSF oil cooler is designed to withstand a tremendous amount of vibration and debris.

The CSF N55 Intercooler's Stepped Core Design maximizes surface area contact and internal intake air-flow volume. The Rounded Front Face Bar/Plate Design optimizes airflow through the core and is a true "Drop-in Fit" Plug-and-Play Design. In testing the CSF Intercooler showed Intake Air Temperatures (IATs) that were 38 deg F (21 deg C) lower than factory after just 3 consecutive pulls from 4k RPM to 5.8K RPM. From first glance the increase in width from the OEM's 80mm core to the CSF's 115mm width is very apparent. Critical for vehicles running performance tunes with bolt-on modifications. The larger capacity CSF bar/plate core design can handle significantly more airflow + increased boost pressures compared to the OEM intercooler system. BMW M drivers demand nothing but the best from and for their vehicles. While the F87 M2 (N55) is very capable on the street and track, it does suffer from heat issues in extreme conditions. Extensive track testing reveals the engine oil temps reaching upwards of 280? which will send the M2 into limp mode. The CSF Oil Cooler has been track tested in 103? (115 ? Heat Index) and keep the oil temps much lower than factory with a maximum temperature recorded at 240? throughout testing. The extra cooling performance is accomplished in a design that is a true "drop-in fit" requiring no modifications to install. It accepts all attaching oem components including oil-line connections, mounting brackets and shroud/ducting. This is accomplished by utilizing CSF's AC Condenser Technology with a 1-Row super-high pressure 26mm multi-channel microtube. The front full-size core has 17 cooling tubes vs. oem 15 tubes while the backside cooler has an additional 6 rows.
