CSF BMW G8X M3/M4 High Performance Front Mount Heat Exchanger

The CSF Heat Exchanger features a 2-Row (vs OEM single row) Core that is 42mm thick with CSF's Exclusive B-Tube Technology. Increasing the size of the core and end tanks adds to the overall volume of the system which helps absorb more heat. The more efficient core not only helps dissipate more heat from the system, but also provides better airflow into the radiator that sits behind the heat exchanger. For vehicles equipped with the ZF8 Automatic Transmission, the heat exchanger core specifications were design concurrently with CSF's new Race-Spec Dual Core Transmission Oil Cooler (CSF #8221). The two included Black Rock Guards offer full protection for the heat exchanger (above and below the crash bar), especially when paired with aftermarket "open face" race style grilles. These grilles have become quite popular for performance and aesthetics, and keeping your heat exchanger safe from debris is very important. With well over 100 track hours worth of testing and thousands of miles on the road, you can be assured that the CSF's new High-Performance Front Mount Heat Exchanger has been thoroughly tested and vetted.This Part Fits:

CSF BMW S54 Swap Into E36 / E46 Chassis High Performance Radiator

Because the S54 requires a much more robust oil cooling system than the E36's S52, CSF made special provisions to fit two different race spec oil coolers. To do this, the height of the radiator was reduced slightly so the oil coolers can fit under it in a factory style location. The radiator includes mounting brackets which can be adjusted to fit both oil coolers (CSF #8032 & #8240). CSF also includes brackets for an electric fan conversion. These brackets are designed to fit a single 16 inch SPAL Fan (not included). While it is possible to retain a clutch type fan, it is much easier to convert to an electric fan on top of the performance benefits.This Part Fits:

The all-aluminum design was made to withstand even the most extreme conditions - With extruded aluminum end tanks, TIG welds, a heavy-duty bar and plate core, and pressure testing up to 120psi. The core features 17 rows of cooling, split into two sections of 5 and 12 rows, allowing for cooling of two different fluids in one compact design. Virtually any type of oil can be used - including engine oil, power steering fluid, transmission oil, and gearbox fluid. The oil cooler includes a SPAL fan and shroud with isolator mounts (for high vibration) - but this can be removed for a more compact fit or when not needed. -10 AN fittings are built into the end tanks, making it easy to install for aftermarket and race applications.

Honda uses the CSF private label HPD Race Radiator for the FK8 Civic Type R TCR and recently took delivery of a new system CSF developed for the FL5. CSF used the information and experience from building this Race Radiator to design a High-Performance version for the new FL5 CTR and the FE1 Civic Si. The 1-Row Super-High Pressure 32mm 10-Channel Microtube provides optimal oil flow and maximum surface area contact. The original OE radiator from Porsche is a plastic tank radiator with a single row aluminum core design. While this is generally accepted as good quality and durable, it just isn't enough for the Cayenne. The 955/957 is notorious for having cooling issues. Just driving down the road on a hot day can overheat the engine and off-roading and towing/hauling is much harder on the cooling system. On top of that, these SUVs are 15-20 years old now. Those still running the original radiator have definitely lost some cooling efficiency due to bend/damaged fins and tube clogging.
