This intake system features a 7" tall conical air filter with five layers of pre-oiled cotton gauze media to provide maximum performance. Its progressive layering allows the filter to flow at high levels even when dirty. This media is perfect for street and/or track use. Pro 5R filters are easily recharged with aFe's POWER CLEANER and blue air filter oil. aFe developed this sturdy 18 gauge steel wrinkle-black powder-coated heat shield to attach to the top of the lower half of the factory airbox to provide a hassle-free installation utilizing factory mounting locations. This system features a high quality, computer-designed, dyno-tuned intake tube to achieve maximum power gains while maintaining a perfect fit. The Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLPE) material is heat soak resistant and extremely durable. This intake replaces the factory upper intake box. All hardware and components are included for a hassle-free installation. This kit utilizes high quality stainless steel clamps and a reinforced silicone coupler.
